Cryptocurrency exchange Dexbitby has warned of restrictions for Chinese IP addresses starting October 15, 2022.

According to the report, users from mainland China will lose access to the API interface for market quotes, orders and other transactions, including third-party trading tools.

Earlier, the deputy prime minister said that the authorities intend to take action against the mining and digital asset trading industry.

On May 24, the state-run Xinhua news agency released a piece critical of bitcoin and mining. The authors pointed out the risks and negative impact of cryptocurrencies.

Recall that against this background, exchanges Huobi and OKEx reduced the volume of services in mainland China: the first stopped providing services to the mining pool, the second – temporarily stopped trading native token OKB on the p2p-platform for residents of the country.
